Aerobic exercise is a good way to develop several components of health-related physical fitness.
When done in the cardiovascular fitness target zone, aerobic activities are excellent for building cardiovascular fitness. Because aerobic activities can be sustained for relatively long periods, they can result in considerable calorie expenditure and are very good for helping to control body fatness.
